Yuliya Deenkova

Rehabilitation Physician

Yuliya was born in the city of Baku. Until 1993, her family lived there, but due to military conflict they were forced to relocate. From December 1993, Yuliya lived in Zaporizhzhia (Ukraine). In March 2022, fleeing the war, she moved with her children to Wrocław (Poland), and in March 2025 she relocated to Spain together with her daughter.

Yuliya’s professional journey began with medical education. From 1996 to 1999, she graduated from the Zaporizhzhia Medical College with a degree in Nursing. From 2000 to 2002, she studied General Medicine at Zaporizhzhia State Medical University. In 2002, following the birth of a child with a birth-related cranio-spinal injury who required constant care, Yuliya continued her education at Zaporizhzhia National University, graduating in 2005 with a degree in Physical Rehabilitation. She also completed additional training courses in massage therapy and kinesiology taping.

Her professional experience includes work at Zaporizhzhia Maternity Hospital No. 6, followed by employment at a rehabilitation center and a social adaptation center for children with special needs. She has also maintained a successful private practice for more than 10 years. Her primary specialization is the rehabilitation of patients with musculoskeletal disorders, neurological conditions, and post-traumatic states.

In her work, Yuliya develops individualized rehabilitation programs, applying therapeutic exercise, kinesiotherapy, massage, and physiotherapy techniques. She carefully monitors patient progress and adjusts treatment plans according to results. She places great emphasis on teaching patients safe movement patterns and helping them maintain achieved functional outcomes in everyday life.

Patients value her professional competence, empathy, patience, and sincere support. Yuliya helps patients not only regain movement but also restore self-confidence and belief in their own abilities. Her approach combines professional precision with genuine human care, ensuring that every session leads to real progress.

Yuliya believes that the most important aspects of rehabilitation are supporting the patient, providing clear explanations, and creating a calm, motivating environment. She considers her greatest achievements to be the tangible results of her work and the many grateful patients she has helped.

Outside of work, Yuliya enjoys an active lifestyle, including sports, travel, and spending time in nature. She loves mountain trails, watching the sunrise by the sea, practices meditation, enjoys reading, and experiments creatively with cooking. All of this helps her maintain balance, energy, and inspiration, which she warmly brings into her work with patients.
