
Svetlana Maksimiuk
Pediatrician–osteopath
Svetlana Maksimiuk is originally from St. Petersburg and is also connected with Veliky Novgorod. In 2000, she graduated from the St. Petersburg State Pediatric Medical Academy with a degree in Pediatrics. Later, she continued her education at the V. L. Andrianov Institute of Osteopathic Medicine, where in 2015 she received the qualification of osteopathic physician.
Svetlana has repeatedly deepened her professional training through international courses and internships. She studied holistic kinesiology and physioenergetics at the Vienna School of Osteopathy, trained in the tissue approach to osteopathy with Pierre Tricot (France, Paris), and embryonic motility with Alain Auberville (France, Marseille). She advanced her qualifications in pediatric osteopathy, psychomotor development, and neurological disorders in St. Petersburg, mastered techniques for working with the temporomandibular joint, as well as modern kinesiotaping methods in Estonia. In addition, she participated in international exchange programs and internships at the thermal spa resort in Laško (Slovenia).
Svetlana’s clinical experience includes working at Children’s City Polyclinic No. 49, the “Children’s Village” medical center, as well as in the osteopathic centers “Family,” “Osteomed,” and “Osteopatic.” At the multidisciplinary medical center “European Institute of Family Health,” she continues to provide care for patients of all ages.
The main areas of her practice are pediatrics and osteopathy. Dr. Maksimiuk works with children from birth to 18 years old, pregnant women, adults, and athletes. In her practice, she combines a gentle approach with professionalism and responsibility, paying special attention to trust and partnership with her patients.
Svetlana holds the title of Doctor of Osteopathy of Europe (D.O.E.) and is a member of the European Register of Osteopaths (ENRO, registration number 452111121221).
Her professional credo is: “Movement is life. Where structure is mobile, disease cannot develop.” In her work, she is inspired by her love for people and her desire to help every patient.
In her free time, Svetlana enjoys sports, traveling, learning foreign languages, art, and music. She values nature and practices meditation, considering it an important source of harmony and renewal.
